The Travelers: selections from an ongoing series in a time of personal, collective and planetary transition. The process: Found figures and structures, originally manufactured for model railroad scenes, are used to creat a diorama. I then take photos of the scene with varied lighting and perspectives, eventually selecting one to use as a reference for my painting.
